* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
expected. Strongest winds occurring between 8 PM to 5 AM.
* WHERE...Grand Coulee, Ritzville, Harrington, Wilbur, Alpowa
Summit, Spokane Valley, Plummer, Mountain Road, Mansfield, La
Crosse, Colfax, Peola, Pomeroy, Post Falls, Badger Mountain Road,
Moses Lake, Moscow, Coeur d'Alene, Anatone, Uniontown, Othello,
Worley, Airway Heights, Cheney, Ephrata, Odessa, Quincy, Pullman,
Clarkston, Downtown Spokane, Fairfield, Coulee City, Tekoa,
Hayden, Rosalia, Genesee, Waterville, Cloverland Road, Davenport,
Rockford, Oakesdale, Creston, and Potlatch.
* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Patchy blowing dust will be possible in the
Columbia Basin around Moses Lake.
Instruction:
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
