Description: 
At 435 PM HST, radar indicated nearly stationary thunderstorms with heavy rainfall redeveloping over the Koolau mountains, from upslope of Hauula to upslope of Ahuimanu. These thunderstorms were bringing heavy rainfall to some areas that have already had significant rainfall today. Rain was falling at a rate of 2 to 3 inches per hour in the heaviest downpours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible in steep terrain. Some locations that could experience flash flooding include but are not limited to... Hauula, Punaluu, Kaaawa, Waikane, Kahaluu, Ahuimanu, Heeia, and Kaneohe.
Instruction: 
Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even if they are currently dry.
