Some shoreline erosion may occur. Breaking waves can sweep people off jetties and docks, and into dangerous seas. Life- threatening swimming conditions and significant beach erosion can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong to near-gale trade winds, enhanced by TY Sinlaku, are producing an east swell near 10 feet and supporting hazardous surf and a high risk of rip currents. A TY Sinlaku moves towards the Marianas swell and surf are expected to build. This will likely generate dangerous surf and increase the risk for coastal inundation, especially if TY Sunlaku moves through the Marianas around Monday night or Tuesday.
Instruction:
Everyone should remain out of the water due to life-threatening surf conditions. Stay off of jetties, piers, and other waterside infrastructure.
