At 306 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lakepoint Resort State Park, or near Georgetown, moving east at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Wire Bridge, and Crossroads.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM EDT for southwestern
Georgia.
