Description:
At 802 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Hoschton, or 9 miles
west of Jefferson, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.

Winder, Jefferson, Commerce, Watkinsville, Athens, Braselton, Auburn,
Dacula, Statham, Arcade, Nicholson, Hoschton, Bogart, Bethlehem,
Pendergrass, Ila, Carl, Hull, Talmo, and Athens-Clarke County.
Instruction:
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
