Description:
At 540 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Orme, or near
Bridgeport, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.

Lafayette, Ringgold, Trenton, Fort Oglethorpe, Rossville,
Chickamauga, Varnell, Lookout Mountain, Tunnel Hill, Cohutta,
Chattanooga Valley, La Fayette, Blue Spring, Fairview, Linwood,
Chattanooga Valley, Hooker, Cloudland Canyon State Park, Cooper
Heights, and Rock Spring.
Instruction:
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
