Description:
At 724 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Clayton, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Walhalla, Clayton, Mountain City, Tiger, Salem, Lake Jocassee, Devils
Fork State Park, Lakemont, Oconee State Park, and Black Rock Mountain
State Park.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
