Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Chatham County in southeastern Georgia... Effingham County in southeastern Georgia... Jasper County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Automated rain gages in the area indicate that hourly rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour are occurring. The best chance for minor flooding will be from around Bloomingdale, Port Wentworth, to Hardeeville. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain will be possible through the late afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pooler, Godley Station, Savannah International Airport, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Rincon, Garden City, Port Wentworth, Hardeeville, Bloomingdale and Meinhard.
