* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Georgia, including the following counties, Berrien, Cook, Lanier and Lowndes. * WHEN...Until 915 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 608 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Nashville, Lakeland, Adel, Sparks, Ray City, Moody Air Force Base, Meigs, Cecil, Allenville, Teeterville, New Lois, Barretts, Hansell, Cottle, Massee, Courthouse, Cook Co A/P and Greenwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
