* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Bulloch County in southeastern Georgia... Candler County in southeastern Georgia... Effingham County in southeastern Georgia... * WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with moderate to locally heavy rainfall extending from Portal and Pulaski east to Brooklet and Emit. As much as 1 to 4 inches of rain has already fallen in some areas since 5 PM and additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 715 PM. Rain gages and emergency management officials indicate as much as 4 inches of rain fell across parts of Statesboro between 445 PM and 545 PM. Flooding has been reported on some roadways. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Statesboro, Brooklet, Portal, Pulaski, Register, Georgia Southern, Hopeulikit, Leefield, Stilson and Statesboro Mall.
