Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Chatham County in southeastern Georgia...
* WHEN...Until 345 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other
areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 255 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with
torrential rainfall extending from Riverside and Thunderbolt east
to Tybee Island and Skidaway Island. As much as 1.5 to 3 inches
of rain has fallen over parts of the area since 130 PM with the
highest amounts falling over parts of Whitemarsh Island and
Talahi Island. While storms are expected to slowly weaken with
time, an additional 1 to 1.5 inches could fall through 345 PM.
The risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas
continues.

Midtown Savannah, Hutchinson Island, Downtown Savannah,
Thunderbolt, Whitemarsh Island, Isle Of Hope and Skidaway Island.
