Description:
At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Lake Istokpoga to 15 miles
west of Sebring to near Wauchula. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sebring, Lake Placid, Sebring Regional Airport, Sylvan Shores, Lake
Istokpoga, Sweetwater, Zolfo Springs, Brighton, Cornwell, Lake
Josephine, Placid Lakes, Archbold, Gardner, and Crewsville.
