Description: 
At 756 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southeast of Crestview to 11 miles northwest of Vernon to 9 miles southeast of Chipley. Movement was south at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Vernon, Chipley, De Funiak Springs, Bonifay, Eglin Air Force Base, Bradford, Union, Liberty, Live Oak, Freeport, Cottondale, Ponce De Leon, Alford, Caryville, Wausau, Westville, Ebro, Oakwood Hills, Cluster Springs, and Moose Pond.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for the Panhandle of Florida.
