At 520 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17 miles southeast of De Funiak Springs. The strong thunderstorm is nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Vernon, De Funiak Springs, Eglin Air Force Base, Live Oak, Freeport, Ebro, Hinsons Crossroads, Red Bay, Douglass Crossroad, Rock Hill, Bruce, Red Head, Eucheeanna, Holmes Valley, Millers Ferry, Knox Hill, Smyrna, Spring Hollow, and Sylvania.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
