At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Apalachicola, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Eastpoint, Apalachicola, St George Island, Franklin, Buck Siding, Bay City, Apalachicola Airport, Creels, Beverly, Hays Place, Green Point, and Fort Gadsden.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
