At 622 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Quincy to near Woodville to 9 miles northwest of Perry. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tallahassee, Woodville, Tallahassee State College, Florida State University, Midway, Quincy, Florida A and M, Greensboro, Doak Campbell Stadium, Gretna, Lake Bradford, Cody, Leon Sinks, Douglas City, Gaither Community Center, Tallahassee Memorial Hosp, Florence, Walker Ford Community Center, South City, and Eight Mile Pond.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
