Description:
At 240 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Cecil Field, or 9 miles west of Orange Park,
moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Cecil Field, Nas Jax, Maxville, Cisco Gardens, Ortega,
Normandy, Riverside, Baldwin, and Jacksonville Heights.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
