Description: 
At 1039 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Bonifay to 8 miles west of Vernon, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Vernon, Bonifay, Bradford, Live Oak, Caryville, Wausau, Hinsons Crossroads, Brock Crossroad, Orange Hill, Whitehead Crossroads, Holmes Valley, Millers Ferry, Five Points, Hulaw, Smyrna, Spring Hollow, Sunny Hills, Poplar Head, Sylvania, and Johnson Crossroads.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT for the Panhandle of Florida. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Tallahassee.
