* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Hamilton and Herkimer counties in eastern New York.
* WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of heavy rainfall due to multiple rounds of rain
showers and embedded thunderstorms will impact the southwest
Adirondacks and western Mohawk Valley today into Wednesday
afternoon. Rainfall amounts ranging between one to two inches
combined with snow melt may lead to minor flooding.
