* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...Hamilton and Herkimer counties in eastern New York. * WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of heavy rainfall due to multiple rounds of rain showers and embedded thunderstorms will impact the southwest Adirondacks and western Mohawk Valley today into Wednesday afternoon.
