* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is possible. * WHERE...A portion of eastern New York, including the following areas, Hamilton, and Herkimer Counties. * WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Occasional periods of showers and thunderstorms will impact the southwest Adirondacks and western Mohawk Valley Tuesday morning into Wednesday afternoon.
