For the Kankakee River...including Dunns Bridge...flooding is possible. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. * WHERE...Kankakee River from US-421 south of La Crosse downstream to IN-49 south of Kouts, including the Dunns Bridge gauge. * WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Structures threatened near IN-49 and the river. Backwater on a drainage canal threatens 1200 South Road east of IN-49. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Persons along rivers and streams in the watch area should monitor the latest forecasts and be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
