...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in
Washington...Idaho...
Palouse River near Potlatch affecting Whitman and Latah Counties.
...The Flood Watch is replaced by a River Flood Warning for the
following creeks in Washington...Idaho...
Paradise Creek at Moscow affecting Whitman and Latah Counties.
For the Palouse River...including Palouse, Potlatch...flooding is
possible.
* WHAT...Flooding is possible.
* WHERE...Palouse River near Potlatch.
* WHEN...From Saturday morning to late Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding of the low lying areas
between Potlatch Idaho and Palouse Washington will occur. Flooding
will begin at the Lions Club Community Park and Hayton Greene
Park in Palouse. South River Road will likely be flooded where it
crosses the Palouse River at Wellesley Rd. The Potlatch softball
and baseball fields will see ponding of water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:30 AM PDT Friday the stage was 10.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is forecast to rise to near 14 feet
Friday Night, and then crest near the flood stage level of 15
feet Saturday morning. The river will then fall Saturday
Night.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
