Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Baraboo River at Reedsburg. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, There is general inundation of lowland in the Reedsburg area. The walking path in Webb Park and Smith Conservancy is covered with water. The Public Works yard is under 6 to 12 inches of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 14.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 7.3 feet Tuesday, April 14. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.4 feet on 04/15/2014. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
