...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin... Kickapoo River at Readstown affecting Vernon County. Kickapoo River at Viola affecting Vernon and Richland Counties. Kickapoo River at La Farge affecting Vernon and Richland Counties. Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Kickapoo River at La Farge. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Some roads are under water and several residences and businesses are affected. However the majority of the people in town are still dry. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 12.6 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.6 feet on 08/14/2010. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
