...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Yakima River at Kiona affecting Benton County. Naches River near Naches affecting Yakima County. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Yakima River at Kiona. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, there will be minor flooding of pastures and roads adjacent to the river...especially in low lying areas of West Richland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this afternoon and crest at 13.2 feet late Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening, but remain above action stage through Tuesday night. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.3 feet on 04/03/2011. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
