* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt and previous rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south-central Washington, including the following county, Kittitas. * WHEN...Until 500 PM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1242 PM PDT, the public reported flooding in the warned area due to snowmelt and previous heavy rainfall. Flooding is already occurring. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Little Creek, Spex Arth Creek, Peterson Creek, Big Creek, Cle Elum River, Yakima River and Tucker Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
