...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...
Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.
.Heavy rain has fallen on steep terrain and on a deep primed
snowpack leading to snow melt and increasing river flows. Flows will
slowly recede in the coming days.
* WHAT...River level slowly dropping below Minor Flood Stage is
currently forecast.
* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.
* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 23.8 feet, McGregor's Meadow Road will be mostly
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 23.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 20.3 feet by
Saturday, March 28.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
23.8 feet on 01/19/2005.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
