...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Skykomish River Near Gold Bar affecting Snohomish County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Skykomish River near Gold Bar. * WHEN...Until this afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, the Skykomish River will cause minor flooding of low pasture lands and low lying roads...including Index-Galena Rd and Tualco Loop Rd. A stage of 15 feet on the Skykomish River corresponds to a Phase 2 in the Snohomish County flood program. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:30 AM PDT Saturday was 17.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early this morning and continue falling to 7.3 feet late Monday evening. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.3 feet on 10/27/1967. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
