...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Snoqualmie River Near Carnation affecting King County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Carnation. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 56.0 feet, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread flooding from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall... inundating much of the farm land and numerous roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:15 AM PDT Wednesday the stage was 54.2 feet. - Flood stage is 54.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:15 AM PDT Wednesday was 54.2 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise into moderate flood stage tonight, cresting near 56.8 feet. The river will briefly recede late Thursday into Thursday night, but remain elevated through early Saturday. The river will then fall below flood stage and further recede late in the weekend. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 56.8 feet on 01/16/1974. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
