Skookumchuck River Near Bucoda affecting Thurston County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Skookumchuck River near Bucoda. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 213.0 feet, the Skookumchuck River in Thurston County will flood several residential and business areas around Bucoda. Flood waters will cover many roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 214.2 feet. - Flood stage is 211.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:45 AM PDT Saturday was 214.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 214.3 feet late this morning.
