...The National Weather Service in Portland OR has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Washington...
Cowlitz River at Castle Rock affecting Cowlitz County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Cowlitz River at Castle Rock.
* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...Above 48.0 feet, expect flooding of several roads and
low-lying agricultural lands in areas not protected by levees.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 47.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 48.6 feet
early this morning. It will then fall below flood stage by
early this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 48.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
