increased in duration for the following rivers in Washington...
Skookumchuck River Near Bucoda affecting Thurston County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Skookumchuck River near Bucoda.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 213.0 feet, the Skookumchuck River in Thurston County
will flood several residential and business areas around Bucoda.
Flood waters will cover many roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 PM PDT Friday the stage was 211.7 feet.
- Flood stage is 211.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:45 PM PDT Friday was 211.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 213.5
feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
