...The National Weather Service in Portland OR has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Washington... Grays River at Covered Bridge near Rosburg affecting Wahkiakum County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grays River at Covered Bridge near Rosburg. * WHEN...From this evening to early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Above 30.5 feet, expect widespread lowland flooding and numerous flooded roads near Rosburg and Hwy 4. These include Covered Bridge Road near the gage and the roadway approaches to the Altoona Bridge downstream of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 PM PDT Wednesday the stage was 29.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 27.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 PM PDT Wednesday was 29.4 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to flood stage early Friday morning. It will then rise to 28.8 feet late Friday morning. It will fall below flood stage Friday evening to 26.4 feet late Sunday evening. It will then rise to 26.5 feet Monday afternoon. Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive through flooded areas.
