* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Vermont, including the following county, Caledonia. * WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Depending on ice behavior, any release of the ice jam could result in sudden rises of water, leading to a rapid flooding situation. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1002 AM EDT, Emergency Management reported an ice jam near the intersection of the Passumpsic and Moose Rivers, with homes being evacuated on Elm Street and Concord Avenue. Flooding is already occurring. Between 0.25 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
