Pawtuxet River At Cranston affecting Providence and Kent Counties.
For the Pawtuxet River...including Cranston, Scituate Reservoir...
Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Pawtuxet River at Cranston.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Parking lots and roads are flooded in low
lying areas of Warwick and Cranston near the Pawtuxet River.
Impacted roads include River Street, Pioneer Avenue, Bellows
Street and Venturi Avenue in Warwick.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 9.3 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
