...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Oregon...
Johnson Creek at Sycamore affecting Clackamas and Multnomah
Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Johnson Creek at Sycamore.
* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Above 13.0 feet, expect flooding to begin at numerous
locations along Johnson Creek. Evacuations of several homes have
historically taken place at this and higher stages.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 10.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will briefly rise above flood stage to
11.2 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage this evening to 8.9 feet late tonight. Additional
rainfall on Friday will cause it to again rise above flood
stage again tomorrow afternoon to 13.0 feet by late tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage again Saturday
morning as rainfall ends.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
through flooded areas.
