Portage River At Woodville affecting Wood and Sandusky Counties.
For the Portage River...including Woodville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Portage River at Woodville.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Homes in Pemberville upstream of Woodville
inundated with a few feet of water and cut off. Water reaches the
buildings in the business district.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:30 PM EDT Friday the stage was 13.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 6.7 feet
early Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.5 feet on 05/20/2020.
