Description:
* WHAT...Creek and river flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Ohio, including the following
county, Ottawa.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Streams and rivers continue to rise due to excess runoff
from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings may be inundated with
water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 516 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated flooding is expected
along the Portage River. Flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the warned area.
- At 5 AM the river was at 11.8 feet. Flooding is expected
along the Portage River near Elmore. The river is expected to
crest late this afternoon around 12.3 feet. Flooding is
likely along State Route 105 and businesses along Luckey
Avenue will be threatened by rising water.

Oak Harbor and Elmore.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
