...Observed flooding changed to Minor severity and increased in
duration for the following rivers...
Hocking River at Enterprise.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Hocking River at Enterprise.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12 feet, the river is out of its banks and covers the
flood plain area mainly near Rockbridge, with low areas near
Enterprise also affected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM EDT Thursday, the stage was 12.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this afternoon and continue falling.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
