...The National Weather Service in Burlington VT has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in New York...
Great Chazy River At Perry Mills affecting Clinton County.
.An ice jam will cause water to infiltrate the lowlands along the
river.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Great Chazy River at Perry Mills.
* WHEN...From this evening to early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Water covers Perry Mills Road and Creek
Road in the vicinity of Perry Mills.
At 10.0 feet, Water will approach homes in Perry Mills. Perry
Mills Road and Creek Road in the vicinity of Perry Mills will
flood, and water will partially cover Route 11 south of Perry
Mills.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:300 PM EDT Sunday was 9.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 4.4 feet
Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
8.8 feet on 07/02/2023.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
