For the Tonawanda Creek...including Attica, Batavia, Rapids...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tonawanda Creek at Rapids.
* WHEN...From Monday evening to Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flood stage, lowland flooding of farm
areas along Tonawanda Creek between Rapids and the Tonawanda
Indian Reservation. Flooding may impact Fletcher, Burdick,
Kelkenberg, and Tonawanda Creek Roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 8.53 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 12.1 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
