...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Marmaton River near Nevada.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, minor flooding occurs near the gage site
and affects low lying areas along the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:45 PM CDT Sunday was 22.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tonight and continue falling to 3.4 feet Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
20.6 feet on 11/02/2013.
