Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie affecting Miami County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wakenda Creek at Carrollton. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying undeveloped areas along the creek begins. At 19.1 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the South Main Street bridge over Wakenda Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.1 feet just after midnight tonight.
