For the Current River...including Powder Mill...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Current River near Powder Mill. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, County Road 106-531 south of the gage floods near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Sunday was 9.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this afternoon and continue falling to 4.2 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.7 feet on 05/28/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
