For the Flint River...including Flint...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Flint River near Flint. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Some basements and backyards along and near the river begin to flood. Water affects some roads along the river and its tributaries. At 14.0 feet, Some homes in Flint Township experience minor flooding. Some buildings in Burton, along Thread Creek near where it enters the Flint River, sustain extensive basement damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 13.8 feet just after midnight tonight.
