Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas...
Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie affecting Miami County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie.
* WHEN...From this evening to Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the river begin to
flood.
At 31.0 feet, 347th Road or Main Street east of Highway 169 is
under water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 29.6 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
