Turkey River at Elkader affecting Clayton County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Turkey River at Garber. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Minor flooding begins in the communities of Garber, Osterdock, and Millville. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 PM CDT Saturday was 17.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.5 feet just after midnight tonight.
