Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Tippecanoe River above Winamac affecting White, Carroll and
Pulaski Counties.
Yellow River at Plymouth affecting Marshall, Starke and St.
Joseph Counties.
...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Indiana...
Tippecanoe River near Ora affecting Pulaski County.
For the Tippecanoe River...including Ora, Winamac...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the Yellow River...including Plymouth...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Yellow River at Plymouth.
* WHEN...From Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Some residential and commercial properties
near the Jefferson Street Bridge begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 PM EDT Thursday /8:45 PM CDT Thursday/ the stage was
11.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 13.5 feet Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
