...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
White River at Hazleton and Petersburg.
.Flooding will persist along the White River at Hazleton through the
weekend. The White River at Petersburg is likely to fall below flood
stage this evening. Water levels at both points are gradually
receding.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding affects agricultural lands.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM EDT Friday /12:30 PM CDT Friday/ the stage was
16.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:30 PM EDT Friday /12:30 PM CDT Friday/ was 18.6
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.1
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
