.The Patoka River at Princeton will have a prolonged crest near 19.3
feet.
For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:45 AM CDT Saturday was 19.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.3
feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
